    On September 18 , the Surgeon General's Conference on Children's Mental Health: Developing a National Action Agenda was held in Washington, DC. Three hundred participants were invited, representing a broad cross-section of mental health stakeholders, including youth and family members, professional organizations and associations, advocacy groups, faith-based practitioners. My Senator and Me is an informative tale humorously told through the eyes of Senator Kennedy's Portuguese Water dog, Splash. Our legislative agenda reflects smart public policies that remove barriers and create opportunity—so all kids can thrive. Our Legislative Agenda The Children’s Alliance creates our annual Legislative Agenda with the aid of a racial equity policy analysis, so that our efforts address disparities facing children and families in.

The Children’s Agenda advocates for effective policies and drives evidenced-based solutions for the health, education and success of children. We are especially committed to children who are vulnerable because of poverty, racism, health disparities and trauma.
